Cool movie poster quiz for film buffs

poster contestYou’re a lover of pop culture — you wouldn’t be reading MINE if you weren’t. Probably fancy yourself a film buff, too.

Prepare to be humbled.

Empire Magazine is currently hosting a quiz at its website, and when we put our peepers on this thing, the office went quiet. We’ve tried our best to beat this frickin’ thing, but none of us can get full marks!

The aim of the game is deceptively simple: Try to work out what films are represented by a single letter from each of their posters. We’re able to pick out more than a few from the photo here (Cars, A Bug’s Life, Gone With the Wind, Back to the Future, Sin City), but the sucker gets harder as you go.

Feel free to post yours — and any ideas you have about the posters represented — in the comments. We can’t send you a prize … but will received the glory of being the biggest MINE-reading film nerd out there.
